Ayo is a Data Science graduate from Minerva University in San Francisco. He worked in multiple summer camps and afterschool programs before joining LearnUp as a tutor/analyst. He enjoys playing beach volleyball on the weekends.
Olivia received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Special Education at San Francisco State University. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and skiing.
Laura has been a LearnUp tutor for 5 years. She specializes in securing literacy grants for low-income students through LearnUp. She attended Waldorf Teacher Training and has worked at elementary schools as a Kindergarten assistant and in after-school programs.
Brylie joined LearnUp Centers in March 2020. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice Studies from the University of San Francisco. She now serves as a Program Associate at LearnUp.
Sasha is a recent graduate from UC Davis with a Bachelor's Degree in English and in Theatre. She has a passion for literacy and believes it is the foundation for a good education.
Randie has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from University of Illinois and is certified to teach Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Over the years, Randie has taught a variety of grades. She has been tutoring with LearnUp since March 2020.
Virginia is a certified English as a Second Language Teacher from Arizona State University. For the past two years, she has worked with English Language Learners as a reading teacher.
Tara has worked at LearnUp for 5 years, starting as a tutor. She is now the Partnership Program Manager. She graduated from USF with a BA in Psychology and English and is studying for her Masters in Educational Therapy.
Mei is enrolled in an ABA-approved Paralegal program with an aim to work within the immigration law field. She has 5+ years of experience working with youths. Outside of tutoring, Mei enjoys reading and hanging out with her cat Juju!
Yareli is a second-year graduate student within the Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology program at St. John's University. She enjoys activities that foster emotional growth and allows her to help others which is why she enjoys tutoring and helping youth.
Caitlin has tutored in schools all over San Francisco. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from University of California at Santa Cruz. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys attending poetry events, making jewelry, and going on nature walks.
Kayla graduated from Pitzer College in Claremont California with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. She has been working with students ages 3-15 for several years! Outside of tutoring, Kayla enjoys crocheting, thrifting, and watching early 00's reality tv.
Yan Shan Yu is a graduate student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology with a minor in Criminology. Prior to joining LearnUp, she worked as an after-school teacher.
